Toothful Day!

Well yesterday the twins went to the dentist for the first time! I kept telling them that they were going to tickle their teeth. So when we got there they weren't too scared. Quinn played with puzzles and cars and Bella enjoyed the puzzle while she was waiting. They also had a movie playing.

When it was their turn to go in, I went in with both of them but they did one of them at a time so Bella waited in the lobby with Gramps and Brinlee. Quinn sat on my lap and laid back for the hygienist to brush his teeth. He hated it, which I am surprised since he loves me brushing his teeth and he likes to brush his. The only thing I could think of is that he wasn't standing up. He has a little bit of gingivitis so we need to brush his teeth and gums morning and night. He was happy when it was over.

Then it was Bella's turn, she wasn't too sure of it either, and she cried but at least listened to the hygienist and opened her mouth but then resisted. Her teeth looked good and she did a lot better than what I thought!

The dentist said that Quinn has some gingivitis and that will go away with brushing his gums some more, also he has great teeth, nice and spaced out as well. He had one indentation that she put some concentrated fluoride in to fill it. Bella's teeth were just the same well spaced and aligned. She said they have the same overbite which looks really good for their age.

They got to take home their toothbrushes and a little toy fish. They were excited about that. We took a picture on the way out, I will post those later this weekend. When we got home Bella said, "Mommy dentist tickled my teeth!" It was too cute. They go back after their 3rd birthday for another check-up. At that time we will try letting them go back by themselves, their is even TVs on the ceiling for them to watch - how cool is that?

Kids Valentine's Day Gift

The kids got int he mail a gift from Nanny and Gramps. So I talked to my Mom today and she said they could go ahead and open it so after dinner tonight that's what we did. Enjoy the pictures and video!

Oh what a Day!

Well let me start with yesterday....

Saturday:
Went to work and it was a rough day just because I was tired and had a headache. Starting choroegprahy for recital already and I didn't have a creative move in my body. I hate that! Well afterwards I picked up Hubby at home and we headed up to my parents house to have lunch witht he kids and pick them up (they spent the night). Then we went to see some friends of ours that were ahving a garage sale beacuse they are moving out of state. Then on the way home we decided to try to book a photo shoot for Brinlee's 6mo pics and a V-Day pic. Can you totally say Last Minute?!

Well we got a 7pm appt. and it was already 3:30pm. We got home and of course the creative Mommy in Me said, "I NEED to make bows to match their outfits!" So yep I sure did make Bella 2 bows, Brinlee 1 matching one and Brinlee another bow for her 6mo. picture. (I'll attach the pics at the end). Can I say the pictures turned out GREAT! I wanted to buy about 5 of them but that was not in my budget. We got her 6mo picture and 1 VDay picture of all three kids. There was no fighting, crying, hiding faces...I thought I died and went to heaven! I guess that's the outcome you get when you take them at night, it's quiet there and you bribe them with Suckers and McDonalds LOL!

I came home with an aweful migraine and of course the twins just wnated to run around, Brinlee wasn't happy but everyone went down fairly well. I crashed hard of course!

Sunday:

I didn't want to get up this morning at all. Plus with getting up late, twins trying to eat cereal, Jay getting ready for work and Brinlee who woke up at 4am, I wasn't ready to leave for church by the time my Dad came by. We made it out the door, but when we got to church PACKED! We got the last 3 seats. It was a long mass, Quinn was getting tired of standing, Brinlee wanted a bottle and Bella tried to complain about everything. We made it through though.

Back home I did get some things done. Twins were the typical toddlers: playing, fighting, screaming, etc. They are all currently down for naps YES! So that's why I'm blogging right now since I have a few minutes. I have a huge list of things I would like to do, I'm attacking a few of them so I guess you could say I'm making progress.

Thursday COLD!

Well waht a day. Yes it's COLD in FL!! A low of 23 last night..BURRR!! Today has een a great day inside, I've gottent hings done, the kids have been fairly good playing and enjoying tehir time with Daddy who is off durning the day and is working tonight. He has been very nice at letting me have some time to myself.

I also just made the twins FIRST dentist appointment today, they go in 1 week I hope they don't freak. They love brushing their teeth so I think they should do fine. It's another fear to hopefully get though or dread. I will let you know next week!

Sunday, Sunday!

Oh the things I wanted to get done today, but of course didn't. At least I got one thing on my list done, hey it's a start. I got the van washed and waxed, yes waxed by myself. Now just the inside needs to be cleaned.

I'm up at my parents house again, I think it's going to be a weekly thing since I'm closer to work, my Father can get his work done, I've got my computer and we have 2 sets of eyes on the twins. It works and we both think it works out well.

Our website is updated, and I still need to get photos us as well. Another task that will take awhile, don't worry I'll get there, when? Who knows haha!

After washing the van, sleeping weird last night because Brinlee was cranky and wanted to breastfeed, my neck, arms, feet and back are very tight. So I figured while up here at my Dad's I'd sit in the hot tub and relax the muscles. I had to give the twins a bath, then the baby, so I'm beat! Well...the heater isn't working on the hot tub. ARR!! So it's just not my day today.

Hopefully tomorrow will start a better week!

Well a lot of people have been talkng about it and I thought it might be nice to find old friends that I worked with and some other friends as well. I won't be ont ehir often I have so much going on here, though I'm writing this right now. LOL!

I need to still finish updating our website, work on cutting music and clean the house. Oh yeah and the kids too! If you are on Facebook go ahead and find me :)

Happy New Year!

Well some of us made it to 'Ring' in the New Year! I twas Sarah, Quinn, Gramps and Brinlee asleep on Sarah's chest. Quinn was a party animal, but hated the fireworks. We just relaxed at home and really did nothing, watched America's Funniest Home Videos, and had snacks. Bella has been fighting a cold so she crashed early, then Jay crashed because he had to be at work at 7am.

Brinlee woke me up at 3:15am crying with a poppy diaper, and wanting to eat. Then after breastfeeding on the couch and dosing finally around 5:30am, I tired to get her to fall back asleep because I moved her she was up until about 7am when I finally got her in her crib. Bella was up by then, and we went into bed. I only slept from 7-8am when Brinlee woke up again, I tried to sneak out of bed but the notorious Bella followed! So needless to say, I had nothing to drink, didn't party, but still feel like I have a hangover!

Christmas 2008

What a great Christmas we had this year! We went to Disney for a few days with Nanny and Gramps before Christmas. The kids nad a ton of fun and so did we.

Christmas Eve and Day were very relaxing but I think they were a bit overwhelmed by the toys. They didn't know what to play with first! Busget was tight so we did get a lot of things ourselves for the kids through Freecycle, and they love all of them.

We hope that you all had a great Christmas with your familes. Please take a look at some pictures that we took. I hope to update our website and keep up on out Bolg some more. There is always way too much to do around here and I can enver get to everything I want to get done!
